Allison Plesur
For my entire career I’ve worked at the intersection of people and work – understanding how each can support the other, and what becomes possible when they’re aligned.
That focus began at Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and carried through law school and a 30-year career practicing employment law. After earning my JD from New York Law School, I represented both employers and employees, giving me a deep, balanced understanding of the pressures, incentives, and human realities on all sides of the workplace.
Alongside my legal practice, I co-founded an online workplace training company and co-developed a blockchain-based workplace communications platform – work that further sharpened my ability to see organizational systems clearly and help people navigate them effectively.
Over time, it became clear that the work I found most meaningful was helping individuals and organizations address complex challenges, clarify paths forward, and meet goals in a sustainable way. Coaching became the most direct way to do that. I earned my Executive Coaching certificate from NYU and now focus my work on coaching within the legal community.
Today, I bring a unique combination of legal insight, organizational understanding, and coaching skills to my work. I partner with individuals to build sustaining careers and with firms to create workplaces that support development. and long-term success.
